The two walk together outside, finding a place of relative privacy a few stones throws away from the building they met in. The non-xegnes troll reaches into a bag they hold by their side, and after a split second of fumbling through its contents, pull out a shrink-wrapped box. They hold it out and Xegnes swiftly takes it. He bows overdramatically.
"THANKS ggAMER. I BETTER SEE YOU IN THE CHAT WHEN THIS SHIT ggETS STREAMED. MAYBE IF YOU'RE LUCKY YOU'LL ggET A SHOUT-OUT." Xegnes winks. The other troll blushes, and stutters an "o-of course," as they awkwardly grab the hems of the jacket they wear. Xegnes makes a click sound at them, and gives a lazy wave-salute. The other party, apparently not yet satisfied, interjects with a sudden "w-wait, can i ask you a question?", To which Xegnes responds with "JUST ONE. SHOOT."
"W-well I just wanted to know…" they stammer, "what colour is your blood? I can keep a secret i swear!"
Xegnes raises his eyebrows and smiles. "OH? YOU WANT TO KNOW THAT? WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK SOONER. COME CLOSE AND I'LL WHISPER THE ANSWER IN YOUR EAR."
The other Troll grins giddily, excited that they may finally know the answer to one of life's burning questions, even if it must be kept a secret. A secret between them and one of the most influential gamers in all of Peripherius, oh what glee would befall someone in such a situation. They lean forward slightly, and Xegnes meets them the rest of the way. He puts his hand on their shoulder and leans in, his breath making the hairs on their neck stand on end. The troll is filled with pure unadulterated euphoria as Xegnes opens his mouth to whisper the most insanely confidential information they may ever hear for the rest of their paltry existence. He speaks, quietly and delicately but unshakingly. The tension in the air is thick enough to cut with a knife, but his words work just as well: "NOT TELLINgg."
The sound of the other trolls hand colliding with their forehead could be heard the next city over.
